The Terrace at 116 Pall Mall opens to the public for the first time
From the 12th of April and in line with government restrictions, you can step into our tranquil terrace surrounded by lush gardens for a delicious alfresco lunch - accessible to the public for the first time.
Martin Dibben, Head of Catering at 116 Pall Mall said “We are delighted to welcome more people into 116 Pall Mall, with its stunning architecture designed by John Nash. We have hosted wonderful parties, weddings and conferences here, but now we can entertain you on a table for two – six in our private terrace and garden for lunch for the first time. Our Chef has created a delicious menu that offers fresh, seasonal fare that’s perfect for alfresco dining.
“We are incredibly lucky to have such a lovely outside terrace in this part of London. With the government restrictions allowing up to six people to meet and dine outside from 12 April, and having been closed for most of 2020, we wanted to give more people the opportunity to step into our fantastic building, as well as showcase the facilities and opportunities that membership of the IoD provides, encouraging greater awareness of the institute to potential new members.
“You won’t find many gardens like this in the heart of London, and located just a stone’s throw from Piccadilly Circus and Regents Street, it’s the perfect spot to take a shopping break as non-essential shops are also reopening on 12 April.
“We’re also planning to open the terrace up for drinks into the evening during the summer months, so The Terrace at 116 is definitely one to add to your list of post-work meet-up venues.”
But it’s not only the terrace that will be open for dining to the public for the first time, once restrictions allow, Café Duke, The Wine Bar and the Restaurant at 116 Pall Mall will also be opening on 17 May, so keep an eye on our social channels for more updates about our openings.
The Terrace at 116 Pall Mall will be open from 12 April 2021 for lunchtime bookings on Monday – Friday, 8am – 8pm (last orders).
